For Munnar visitors, it is possible to see places of great historical significance. The beauty of Munnar is that even every mantri has a history. The CSI Christ Church is a testimony to the faith which the foreign traders passed on to this hill station in Kerala.
Built in 1910 AD, this Christian house of worship allows visitors to take photos inside the building. It is hard to resist the opportunity as the interiors are enthralling, especially with tall windows to add character. The edifice is made of stone bricks which have weathered the onslaught of time for so many years that the shapes show on the outside, even though they are covered with limestone plaster.
There are traces of Roman architecture at the CSI Christ Church, especially if you consider the stained glass windows, sloped roofs, the placement of religious relics at the altar and elaborate chandeliers decorating the interiors of the building.

എഡി 1910-ൽ നിർമ്മിച്ച ഈ ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ ആരാധനാലയം കെട്ടിടത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ഫോട്ടോയെടുക്കാൻ സന്ദർശകരെ അനുവദിക്കുന്നു. ഇന്റീരിയറുകൾ ആകർഷകമായതിനാൽ അവസരത്തെ ചെറുക്കാൻ പ്രയാസമാണ്, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് സ്വഭാവം ചേർക്കാൻ ഉയരമുള്ള ജാലകങ്ങൾ.ചുണ്ണാമ്പുകല്ലിൽ കുമ്മായമിട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിലും പുറത്തുകാണുന്ന രൂപങ്ങൾ കാലത്തിന്റെ കടന്നാക്രമണത്തെ അതിജീവിച്ച കല് ഇഷ്ടികകൾ കൊണ്ടാണ് ഈ കെട്ടിടം നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
സിഎസ്ഐ ക്രൈസ്റ്റ് ചർച്ചിൽ റോമൻ വാസ്തുവിദ്യയുടെ അടയാളങ്ങളുണ്ട്, പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും സ്റ്റെയിൻഡ് ഗ്ലാസ് ജാലകങ്ങൾ, ചരിഞ്ഞ മേൽക്കൂരകൾ, ബലിപീഠത്തിൽ മതപരമായ അവശിഷ്ടങ്ങൾ സ്ഥാപിക്കൽ, കെട്ടിടത്തിന്റെ ഉൾവശം അലങ്കരിക്കുന്ന വിപുലമായ ചാൻഡിലിയറുകൾ എന്നിവ .
