Kodikuthimala is a hilly area in Malappuram district at a height of 522 meters above sea level. The British raised this flag on a survey of their flag and thus adopted the name Kodikunnylamala. A walk through verdant valleys amidst perennial springs, crystal clear waterfalls and misty atmosphere started appearing on Kerala's tourism map two decades ago.

Kodikuthimala is the highest peak in the Amminikandan hills, located 10 km from Perinthalmanna town. September to May is the best time to visit.
