Pookot En ooru Tribal Heritage Village, Comprehensive Scheduled Tribe Development Project of the State Government.En ooru Tribal Heritage Village is a unique, sustainable and lucrative initiative launched by the State Government with the objective of preserving the heritage and culture of the tribal people living in Kerala and promoting traditional knowledge. The En ooru Tribal Heritage Village seeks to bring together the diversity of the tribal people under one umbrella.
En ooru Heritage Village will exemplify the tribal heritage of Kerala in an exemplary manner aimed at the holistic way of life of the tribal people. The aim is to create an opportunity for the tribal people to increase their permanent income and improve their livelihood.
It aims to preserve and nurture tribal arts, architectural skills, heritage and heritage for new generations. Develop practical economic income models for the upliftment of the tribals, prepare direct market without intermediaries to sell their products to the tribal communities, train in various self-employment ventures and develop livelihood sources among them. The main objectives are to create opportunities for economic growth by interacting with organizations and voluntary organizations, and to ensure the marketing of tribal products with government assistance and support.Tribal performances will be held at the Open Air Theater, which is open to the public every day
സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ സമഗ്ര പട്ടിക വര്‍ഗ്ഗ വികസന പദ്ധതിയായ പൂക്കോട് എന്‍ ഊര് ഗോത്ര പൈതൃക ഗ്രാമം. കേരളത്തില്‍ അധിവസിക്കുന്ന ഗോത്ര ജനതയുടെ പൈതൃകവും സംസ്‌ക്കാരവും സംരക്ഷിക്കുകയും പാരമ്പര്യ വിജ്ഞാനത്തെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെ സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ആവിഷ്‌ക്കരിച്ച വേറിട്ടതും സ്ഥിരതയുള്ളതും വരുമാനദായകവുമായ സംരഭമാണ് എന്‍ ഊര് ഗോത്ര പൈതൃക ഗ്രാമം. ഗോത്രജനതയുടെ വൈവിധ്യങ്ങളെ ഒരുകുടക്കീഴില്‍ അണിനിരത്താനാണ് എന്‍ ഊര് ഗോത്ര പൈതൃക ഗ്രാമം പരിശ്രമിക്കുന്നത്.
ഗോത്രജനതയുടെ സമഗ്രമായ ജീവിത പുരോഗതി ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്ന വിധത്തി ല്‍ മാതൃകാപരമായി കേരളത്തിലെ ഗോത്ര പാരമ്പര്യ വൈവിധ്യങ്ങളെ എന്‍ ഊര് പൈതൃകഗ്രാമം കോര്‍ത്തിണക്കും. ഇതുവഴി ഗോത്രജനതയ്ക്ക് സ്ഥിര വരുമാന വര്‍ധനവിനും ജീവിത അഭിവൃദ്ധിക്കും അവസരം അരുക്കുകയാണ് ലക്ഷ്യം.
പുതിയ തലമുറകള്‍ക്കായി ഗോത്ര കലകള്‍, വാസ്തു വൈദഗ്ധ്യങ്ങള്‍, പൈതൃകങ്ങള്‍, പാരമ്പര്യ വിജ്ഞാനീയം എന്നിവയുടെ സംരക്ഷണവും പരിപോഷണവും ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നു. ഗോത്ര വിഭാഗങ്ങളുടെ ഉന്നമനത്തിനായി പ്രയോഗിക സാമ്പത്തിക വരുമാന മാതൃകകള്‍ ആവിഷ്‌ക്കരിക്കുക, ഗോത്ര സമൂഹത്തിന് അവരുടെ ഉത്പന്നങ്ങള്‍ വില്‍ക്കാന്‍ ഇടനിലക്കാരനില്ലാതെ നേരിട്ടുള്ള വിപണി ഒരുക്കുക, വിവിധ സ്വയംതൊഴില്‍ സംരംഭങ്ങളില്‍ പരിശീലനം നല്‍കി ഇവര്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ ഉപജീവനത്തിനുള്ള വരുമാന മാര്‍ഗ്ഗങ്ങള്‍ വികസിപ്പിക്കുക,
ഗോത്ര സമൂഹങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ ശുചിത്വ പരിപാലനം, ആരോഗ്യ സംരക്ഷണം, സാക്ഷരത തുടങ്ങിയവയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ബോധവത്ക്കരണം ഉറപ്പാക്കുക, ഗോത്ര വിഭാഗങ്ങളുടെ കഴിവുകളും നൈപുണ്യങ്ങളും വിവിധ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വകുപ്പുകള്‍, സംഘടനകള്‍, സന്നദ്ധ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവയുമായി വിനിമയം ചെയ്ത് സാമ്പത്തികാഭിവൃദ്ധിക്കുള്ള കൂടുതല്‍ അവസരങ്ങള്‍ ഒരുക്കുക,സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സഹായത്തോടെയും പിന്തുണയോടെയും ഗോത്ര ഉത്പന്നങ്ങളുടെ വിപണനം ഉറപ്പാക്കുക തുടങ്ങിയവ പ്രധാന ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളാണ്.എല്ലാ ദിവസവും സന്ദര്‍ശകര്‍ക്കായി ഇവിടെ ഒരുക്കുന്ന ഓപ്പണ്‍ എയര്‍ തിയേറ്ററില്‍ ഗോത്രകലാവതരണം നടക്കും
